Resilience - bouncing back in difficult times
Background
Many senior executives are reporting an increasing sense of strain in their working lives. The financial downturn and the consequent impact on public sector finances are partly to blame. Other factors are communication overload, increased media savagery and deterioration in behaviour at work. All of these factors cause us stress at the most basic physical, cognitive and emotional levels.
Resilient leaders are subject to these stresses just like everyone else – but they seem to bounce back quickly from upsets. And to be able to maintain their equilibrium during long periods of adverse circumstances.
Led by Karen Ellis, William Winstone and the Performance1 Resilience Team, the workshop is an energizing and revitalising learning experience for groups or conferences. Click here for a PDF download, or call William on 07962 243644 to find out more.
