Carole McKenzie
Carole has a Ph.D in Cybernetics from Brunel University and is a trained brief therapist and counsellor. She has been working on organisational development and coaching since 1989 when she was part of the process that took BA Engineering from a cost centre to a largely autonomous profit centre. She has worked at a senior level across industry sectors from aerospace to finance and also within the public and voluntary sectors.
She continues to work across sectors and is presently coaching at Director level at Microsoft and is developing support and learning to enable employees in the Private Sector to become Social Entrepreneurs. She has a particular interest in furthering the success of women in the workplace, especially at the executive level. Her experience working with the Adventure Capital Fund, a Government Investment Fund aimed at building sustainable social enterprises has helped her in these new developments.
She has recently written a chapter for 'HRD in a Complex World' published by Routledge and has contributed to The Journal ‘Emergence: Complexity and Organisation’. She was a founder member of the Institute for the Study of Complexity and Emergence (ISCE) and is also a member of the Association for Coaching.
