Master class – A Leaders Guide to Human Spotting
May 20th 2010
Ever wondered why you find some people such a pain?
Or whether they think the same of you?
Does personal friction ever get in the way of being productive at work?
Are you ever left just ‘not getting’ why someone behaves the way they do?
This session will help you get a grip on how to understand other people, so you can be more productive and less stressed at work. We’ll give you the simple, practical tools you need to work with people’s characters, not against them.
Our Master Classes are an ideal opportunity to develop specific, practical solutions to typical management challenges. With no more than eight people in the group, you’ll be able to learn from other senior people facing similar challenges in a range of organisations. Karen Ellis leads the Master Class (see her work here) in a lively, engaging and insightful style.
What will I learn?
- Answers to specific workplace challenges you’re facing right now.
- Why some people can really ‘press your buttons’ – and what to do about it.
- How to recognise the 4 basic character types – including your own.
- The strengths and weaknesses of each combination.
- How to bring out the best in yourself – and others.
- How to build productive working relationships, even with people who are very different from you.
